Bazou Gite - Introduction |

|
This delightful gîte, recently restored, is situated on top of a hill nestling in lush vegetation, in a hamlet of about ten houses overlooking the valley. This stone-built, former farmhouse was built in 1807. It is typical of the local style of the 18th and 19th centuries. The property includes several other structures such as, a barn (now used as a garage) and a bread-oven/bakery (now used as playroom for table-tennis). The garden is fenced and shaded, with outdoor dining under a grapevine-covered pergola which is most appeciated by our guests. It is an ideal place for children and pets, with numerous secluded spots. The open living/dining/kitchen has a cosy fire-place "cantou". The chalet style upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom. This attractive gîte has quite often been named " Little Piece of Heaven". It has a “3 Star” rating from the "Gîtes de France du Lot ". It can accomodate four persons plus a baby. We usually personally welcome our visitors, but if we are not able to do so, please come in and make yourself comfortable. The house will be open and we will arrive in a few minutes. The gites has WIFI. |
