If you are seeking peace and tranquillity then this is the answer to your prayers. As you reach the top of the hill that leads up to Puymule you step back in time. A small hamlet with about 10 houses nestles in this beauty spot. The gite number is 474 and has a "3 corn ears" (3 star) rating from the "Gites de France du Lot". The house can accommodate up to 8 adults plus a small child or baby. The oldest part of the house was rebuilt in 1999, keeping faithfully to the typical 17th century style, and using as much of the original materials as possible. The whole house is built in the old traditional architectural style of the Quercy province. The house is very attractive with its large terrace covered with a lush climbing vine overlooking the swimming pool. All of the rooms are on one level and are light and airy thanks to the large windows. The garden has a sunny secluded setting, with a big walnut tree that provides a shady area to eat in the summer. The garden is totally fenced in, with entrance gates that lock, providing a secure area for children to play. There are also swings and a slide for the children to play on at the rear of the garden. Many of our regular guests think that the garden is a 'Haven of Peace'. The gite has WIFI. |
